Wayman Lavelle Parker ("Dirty-Red") was born July 30, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio to Louise Parker and David Ballard. Wayman was introduced to Christ at an early age and attended the Cleveland Public School System.
Wayman enjoyed having fun, laughing and being the life of the party. He could light up every room while dancing the night away dressed up sharp as he was, he was a lady's man. Dirty Red loved his family, children, and grandchildren. He loved to watch football with his brother on Sundays.
He was promoted to glory on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, and is proceeded in death by his mother, Louise Parker and father, David Ballard, sisters, Geraldine Parker-Thrower, Yvonne Ezell-Davis and Rondesha Parker, and nephews, Donald L. Parker and Darnell Drake and stepdaughter Carletta Anderson.
Wayman leaves to mourn his passing, a loving wife, Cheryle Anderson-Parker, Daughter; Ebony, Son; Raymond, Stepson; Maurice, Grandsons; Raymond and Quientin, Granddaughter; Ashaya, Great Granddaughter; Londyn Hamilton. Brother; Donald (Man), Sister; Hazel (Ree). Nieces; Schelsey, Monica, and Doneka. Nephews; James (Dude), Gregory, Derrick, Deon, Deangelo, V, Dominique. Best Friend; Setti. and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A Visitation period will be held on February 1, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH.
