Waya Journey Estell

We are saddened to announce the transition of Baby Waya Journey Estell.

Waya Journey Estell, also known as "Wy Wy", "Peanut" and "Nutter Butter, was called home on August 2, 2024 at the age of one. 

Waya departed from us peacefully at the MetroHealth Hospital surrounded by his loved ones that he cherished dearly. Waya was born on September 21, 2022, to his parents Queen Edwards, and Terrance Estell. Waya was truly one of a kind. This wasn't your typical sunshine, Waya radiated our lives as if he was our own personal sun. From his beautiful big doe eyes to his deep Cherry dimples, there were many things about Waya that made our hearts jump with joy.

When Waya was around, your day immediately became so much better filled with laughter, love, and intense joy That was the power of Waya, 

He radiated a piece of us that we all forgot existed and he did an amazing job bringing that piece of love out of each of us. He enjoyed dancing to his favorite movies such as Trolls and Mario Brothers, taking outdoors strolls, and enjoyed exploring his way around the tender homes of his loved ones. 

Waya leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Queen Edward; his father: Terrance Estell; one grandfather: Terrance Estell (Tasha); one great-grandfather Alphonsa Estell (Cindy); two uncles: Tavian Estell and Tanner Watson (Faith); two great aunts: Deseree Austin James) and Rewanda Demumbreun; three great uncles: Muhammad Saafir (Megan). Tyler Estell (Akili) and Demetrius Estell (Trennace); one great-great uncle: Clinton Linder (Patsy), and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives. Waya was also survived by his grandmother, Darlene Estell, and his great-grandmother, Olivia Saafir. great-uncle, Larry Saatir Jh great-grandfather-Baxter Hamis

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH.
