Viola Coles

Viola was born in Cleveland, Ohio to James and Ruth Stately (both deceased) on November 22, 1951. Viola attended East High School in Cleveland and Jane Adams for Nursing. 

Viola was a very loving person who was alwasys the life our events. She loved to sing, dance, crack jokes and cook. She was a passionate person who accepted Christ and always put family before herself. 

Viola was always the person giving and never asked for anything in return. She was the type of person that would help if someone needed a place to stay, food, and clothing. If you just needed someone to talk to, she was always there to help. Viola had a smile and a presence that would light up the room. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Viol was called to glory on Sunday, April 24, 2022. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband of 52 years: Reginald E. Coles; two adult children: Sonya T. Coles and Katrina D. Berger (Coles); four grandchildren: Kenyahta V. Coles, Brandon R. Coles, Therin T. Calhoun, and Christian Price; four great grandchildren: Kason T. Johnston, Zari L. Calhoun, Tyronn L. Calhoun and Gianna I. Young; one fur baby (cat) Sade (Shasha). 

Viola also leaves to mourn a sister: Ruby Howell and a brother: James Stately (Tiffany) and a host of other family and friends. Viola had one grandson who preceded her in death: DeLon L. Haamid and a son in-law who also preceded her in death: Theodis I. Berger. 

A public viewing will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street (off East 71st and Harvard), Cleveland, OH. The Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022. A 9:30 AM Wake and 10:00 AM Service are also at the House Of Peace Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 5505 Northfield Road Bedford Heights, Ohio. 

Face Mask will be required for both Viewing and Funeral services.
