Solomon accepted Christ and was baptized at Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio, under the leadership of Elder Oliver D. Bouie and Elder Eric L. Waldon. He was a member for 19 years. He was part of the Brotherhood Men's Ministry and also carried the prayer mailbox. Solomon was a mentor to many and was the "go-to" person for family and friends. He always provided words of wisdom and comfort from the Word of God.
During Solomon's last few years earth-side, he was lovingly cared for by Lorenzo and Marcy Blue, Darcel Williams, Warren James, Michael and Crystal Williams and Ron Frazier.
Solomon love for God was exemplified through his devotion and affection. He learned to lean on the Lord for strength and courage. Solomon was truly a warrior for God.
Solomon transitioned to his heavenly home on Friday, April 28, 2023.
Our beloved Solomon will be deeply missed, but leaves a legacy of love for his daughter: Simika Berry: granddaughter: Brooklyn Berry; mother: Ruby McNeil; sister: Valdia Burns-Frazier (Ron); two nephews: Matthew Burns (Sasha); and Karlin Warren (Kit); three nieces: Pamela Jones, Brianna Williams and Lauren Oliver; cousins from Cleveland, Ohio, Montgomery, Alabama, and Parker Ferry. South Carolina; life-long friends: Eric Solomon, Allen Westbrooks, Warren James, Johnny Gilliam, Ricardo Gilliam, James Roberts, Reggie Smith and William Alexander; dear friends: Pamela Berry and Lisa Davis and special friend Danielle Williams and a host of many other amazing family and friends.
A public viewing will be held on May 7, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street (off East 71st and Harvard), Cleveland, OH. The Celebration Of Life service will be held on May 8, 2023. A 10:00 AM Wake and 10:30 AM Service at Mt Hermon Baptist. Church, 2516 E 40th St, Cleveland, OH 44104
