Shelly Malone

Shelly Malone was born June 27th, 1955, to Ola B Custer and Rufus Malone Sr, who preceded her in death. She was the second child born of three children to the couple. Shelly was named after her paternal grandfather, Shelley Malone, who also preceded her in death. She attended Cleveland Public Schools and accepted Christ into her life at an early age. Shelly worked at Aristocratic Healthcare Rehabilitation as a patient caregiver for many years. Shelly loved reading her bible, listening to gospel music, sewing baking, going on her Brother Sister Days, and spending time doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

On December 3rd Shelly gained her wings and left this earthly life. She leaves behind her cherished 6 children Derenda (Antowan Sr.), Shelniquwa, Michelle, Thomas, Ivey (Gregory), and Chel'le. 1 Brother Rufus Malone Jr (Stacy) and 1 Sister Ruby Malone. 14 Grandchildren Corey, Rayshawnda, Neosha, Shacora, Tray'nel, Jamir, Darion Antowan Jr, Jeremiah, James, Layla, Roman, Kamor, Kalice. 3 Aunts Catherine, Elsie Parthenia, and 1 Uncle Tony Malone. 6 Great Grandchildren 1 who preceded her in death Amir. 1 niece, 3 nephews, and a host of cousins, family and friends. Shelly will be greatly missed.

A Celebration Of Life will be held on December 20, 2024, with a 10:00AM Wake and 10:30AM Service at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. Sedric D Veal Sr, Eulogist. Interment will immediately follow at Cleveland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4324 Green Rd, Highland Hills, OH.
