Roddy Grier Sr

Roddy Grier was born to the union of the late Aaron Grier and Maude Robertson on November 24, 1940 in Twinsburg, Ohio and was raised by this stepfather, the late Hary Macklin Sr after his mother remarried. Roddy was united in holy matrimony to Lillie Kent on July 23, 2011. 

Roddy departed this life Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gladys Dean. A  public viewing will be on January 27, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street (East 71st and Harvard), Cleveland, OH. A Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday, January 28, 2022, 9:30 AM Wake and 10:00 AM Service at Temple Baptist Church, 1862 Noble Road, East Cleveland, OH. Interment will immediately follow at the Cleveland Memorial Gardens, 4324 Green Rd, Cleveland, OH.

Face Mask will be required for both Viewing and Funeral services.
