Paul Wayne Traylor was born in Dadeville, Alabama to the late Willie Marvin Traylor Sr. and Mary Nell Thomas Metcalf (Alvin Metcalf - deceased), on October 28, 1956. Paul was the third born of seven children to this union. His two siblings, Willie M. Traylor Jr. and Gwendolyn Diann Traylor also preceded him in death.
Paul attended the public school system in Camp Hill Alabama and graduated from Edward Bell High School, Class of 1975. He enjoyed jumping out of barns and outshooting "The Rifleman." Paul became interested in cars, fixing and racing them. He was a "Mopar" man. Paul worked several jobs and most people knew him for working on cars, home repairs, landscaping, and snowplowing. He was also a self-proclaimed chef (Paul's Kitchen).
Paul married his first wife, Debbie Stewart (Rommel, stepson), no children were born to this union. Later he met the love of his life, Tracy Evette Moreland. They were married on August 21, 1992 (29 years) and to that union two daughters were born: Qunicy and Teddy.
In 2006, Paul and Tracy were baptized as Jehovah's Witnesses with the support of their family and friends.
Paul retired from O'Reilly's Auto Parts and what he liked to do: enjoying his ministry, fishing, shooting pool, and watching "Street Outlaws" - car racing.
On Monday, May 23, 2022, he went to sleep in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tracy; two daughters: Qunicy and Teddy; one granddaughter: Weslei; two sisters: Carrie Nell (Richard - deceased), Alen-June (Ron); two brothers: Greg (December) and Mark (Vette fiance). His mother-in-law: Marilyn; sister-in-law: MIchele (Chuck); brother-in-law: Tyler (Ashley) and a host of other in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A public viewing will be 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Friday, June 3, 2022. The discourse will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, 10:30 AM Wake and 11:00 AM Service at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street (East 71st and Harvard), Cleveland, OH.
Face Mask will be required for both Viewing and Funeral services.
