Nikki's life was a beautiful display of strength, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones. From an early age, Nikki developed a love for God and his promises to us. She was baptized at Gethsemane Baptist Church, where she remained a member for many years to come. It was here where her children were raised and, they too, were taught the love of God. She attended East Technical High where she met her soon-to-be husband, Scharon Mullis. They were crowned Homecoming King and Queen and graduated with Scarab Pride in 1995.
Born with a gift for turning visions into reality, Nikki's talent and hard work led her to create beautiful things. Her gift allowed her to create custom pieces for people all over which led to the birth of her brand, Imperfectly Beautiful Creations. Nikki's creativity was a true reflection of her grandmother's influence. She inherited the same blessed hands that her grandmother had.
Recently, Nikki set out to begin bodybuilding. Over time, she became stronger both mentally and physically, her journey being one that was truly remarkable. She went on to place in different competitions and obtained her Pro Card during her 3rd show. She also went on to obtain her credentials to become a personal trainer. Her dedication to helping others become their best selves was evident not only in her professional pursuits but also in the way she lived her life. It was in her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother that Nikki truly did shine. Her love was endless, as she nurtured and cared for her family. From a young couple, to almost 24 years later, she was able to grow with her husband and create endless memories. She shared special bonds with her children and provided them with love, knowledge, wisdom, and strength. Both of her children are reflections of her. Nikki's promotion to Grandma was something she was so proud of. Danzo, her little light, was like her little shadow and was so deeply loved by her.
Nikki's commitment to her family and friends was unwavering. She made it a priority to be present at every family and friend function possible. Her smile, laugh and lightheartedness are things we can, and will always treasure, for years to come. Nikki's passing leaves a big void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy will be remembered as that of strength, worship, creativity, style, and love. Her life was lived with purpose, passion, and praise.
