Narshell Narciuss Reynolds was born November 17, 1963 to the late Eddie and Aretha Matthews in Brooklyn New York she confessed her belief in Christ at an early age and join the family church Berean Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York she served the Lord diligently in the choir and on the usher board. She also was the pastor aide and Sunday school teacher.
Narshell was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson high school in Brooklyn, New York. she further her education and obtain an associate degree in early childhood education she decided to relocate to Cleveland, Ohio with her son Wayne Reynolds.
She gained employment with the Cleveland metropolitan school system she also obtained a license from the Jane Hunter building in Cleveland, Ohio to guide and help foster children. she also was a member of the Lee memorial Methodist Church in Cleveland Ohio. She was also a member of the Lincoln chapter #3 order of Eastern star and a supervisor of the youth division #1 of the F&AAYM Prince Hall Origin National Compact USA.
After a long battle of illness God called her on home August 28, 2024 she leaves to cherish her memory son Wayne Reynolds, grandson Nathaniel Reynolds, sisters Janelle Sims, Anita Matthews Carol Stallworth, Evanella Mohammed, Deborah Pettiford, Keisha Reed, Simone Matthews, Jasmine Matthews brother, Clayton Matthews brother-in-law, Tony Pettiford, Rick Stallworth, David Sims, Sharif Mohammed, sister-in-law Iris Matthews and a host of nieces and nephew cousins and friends. she was proceeded in death by parents, Eddie and Aretha Matthews, brother Michael Matthews.
Narshell always thought of others giving so much of herself and making sure other's were happy if she wasn't feeding you with food she was feeding you with the word of God she will always be loved and miss.
A public viewing will be held on September 9, 2024, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. The Celebration of Life will be held September 10, 2024. Wake will be from 9:00AM to 10:00AM and Service from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Lee Memorial AME Church, 861 E 105th St, Cleveland, OH. Interment will immediately follow at the Evergreen Memorial Park, 5505 Northfield Rd, Bedford Heights, OH.
