Michelle McCoy

The pleasant personality of Michelle D. Tate, age 50, of 3548 W. 127th Street Cleveland Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at her resident.  Michelle was born March 30, 1970 in Cleveland Ohio to the late James W. Tate Sr. and the late Evelyn “Pee Wee” Tate.  Michelle received her education in Cleveland Ohio. 

Michelle loved the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ at an early age.  She enjoyed music, loved to sing and was a member of the Glory Land Travelers of Cleveland Ohio.  Michelle loved attending many gospel singings, worshiping and serving the Lord.  Michelle was a friend to those she met along life’s way. 

Michelle loved her family and added happiness, joy, and smiles to each of them.  Her kids were her life and each of them held a special spot in her heart.  Left to cherish many fond memories of Michelle are two wonderful sons, Aaron McCoy “Mann” and Darrian Perry of Cleveland Ohio; her beautiful daughter Kiera McCoy of Cleveland Ohio; loving sisters, Sheila Ratchford (Warren) of Gaffney SC, April Morehead of Thomasville NC, and Carin Bouyer of Cleveland Ohio; loving brothers, James W. Tate Jr. and Roger “Derrick” Tate, both of Cleveland Ohio; and, Darrell Fowler (Jackie) of Gaffney SC.  Her loving and adorable granddaughters Ariyana, Zionne and Aarora McCoy of Cleveland Ohio; loving uncles Charles Tate (Mary) and Victor Tate of Gaffney SC; loving aunts Bernell Tate, Lizzie Ruth Huskey, and Sarah Tate all of Gaffney SC and Eloise Tate and Paulette Morehead both of Thomasville NC.  A loving goddaughter Ja’Mirra Shotwell of Cleveland Ohio; close friends, Pamela Bouyer and La’teque Gist of Cleveland Ohio; special friend Aaron Perry of Cleveland Ohio; and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
