Kweston Wright Obituary

Kweston Wright was born in Cleveland Ohio to Chiquia Mcclaine and Kevin Wright. He was the only child to come from this union, a most treasured, blessing.

As seen in the provided photos, Kweston accepted Christ into his heart at a young age. This would be the foundation he would build his life around. He began and ended his educational career in Shaker Heights, Ohio where he participated in various activities such as orchestra where he played the trumpet, and Glee which aided in his love of mixing music, something he shared with his father. Like his father, Kweston had an ear for rhythm and an inherited gift for finding just the right combinations of musical tones and bass. Putting it together in his brilliant mind on forethought before his hands could even take action, making anyone who listened, bob their head as they rode the beat of his wavelength. A true testament to his eplaceable vibe, earning him the name DJ Kwest-O- Heat. You can currently find and enjoy his music on YouTube, Spotify, and Tictok as well.

Kweston was a very responsible young man he began working at 15 years old and from then maintained employment. He was an extremely hard worker and very dependable. He would go on as time went working double shifts and even sometimes two jobs and Door dashing as well. Family meant everything to him and he loved them all with his whole heart. He had always tried to spread himself equally to both sides of his family. From the youngest members to the eldest, Kweston effortlessly connected deeply to us all while still making time for his friends and his Queen Drea and his daughters. Saying this man was hardworking is a great understatement! He was constantly and incessantly pushing himself to be the man he needed to be for his children. He never made excuses, he knew what needed to be done and he just did it, his grind and drive are only a testament to the amazing tribe of family and the amazing, talented, God-fearing man he was, and now in heaven, still is plus friends that surrounded loved and motivated him to be the Great, loving.

Kweston is survived by both of his parents Kevin Wright and Chiquia McClaine, his sibling Kasiri Mixon, his two daughters, Kianna Dawson and Kyla Wright, his two grandmothers, Walthine McClaine and Lynette Wright. His one living grandfather, Curtis F. Barnette.

He had one great-grandmother Mary Barnett and his Aunts, June Lindsay. Kayla Wright, Isabel Washington, LauTycha Pointdexter, LaShonda Weather, Ava Lucky, and his uncle Emmanuel Wrist, along with a host of cousins and family, near and far, and many many friends his best friend and spirit brother Devin and his fiance' Shawn' Drea Orr. We ask everyone please keep them lifted up in prayer.

It has been said more than once that God never takes away something you love without the intent to fill that space. And as we watch Kweston's children grow, who are living, breathing, tangible pieces of him, it is up to us, family and friends, Kweston's beloved tribe to tell them about everything he was. We all have intricate, personal, and different experiences and connections with Kweston. All those pieces, memories, and different emotions and perspectives with our time with him, will help his girls not just all of the awesomeness that was Kwest but experience it through all of us, and as he now lives in the core of our hearts, he will experience it too. The only thing you can carry with you when you ascend and transition to Heaven is love. And you better believe, Kwest pulled up with a dozen semi-trucks full of it. Forever, you will be both loved and missed.
