Jeffery C Shaw

Jeffery Charles Shaw was born on May 12, 1963, to Marzetta Martinear and David Martinear. He accepted Christ at an early age. 

Jeffery completed his education in Selma, Alabama. He worked for the City of Selma and for Pepsi. Upon relocating to Cleveland, Ohio, to pursue a better life, he worked several jobs until his health wouldn't allow him to. He enjoyed working on cars to help his family and friends, listening to music, and working outside in the yard. Jeffery was a diehard "Alabama Crimson Tide" fan. 

On Friday, December 13th, 2024, he transitioned from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marzetta and David Martinear, and his granddaughter, Janiyah Wilson, sister, Teresa Shaw, and brother, Jessie Shaw. 

Jeffery leaves to cherish his memory, a loving companion and special friend, Brenda Willis, his wife, Carolyn Wilson Shaw, his daughters, Mesha Wilson of Selma, Alabama, Takeesha (Andrea) Wilson; son, Tobias Wilson; granddaughter, Avah Wilson, grandsons, Ja'Cari Wilson and Ja'marion Wilson; brothers, Eddie (Sherel) Shaw of Williamson, GA, Michael Shaw of Florida, his sisters, Barbara Martinear of Selma, Alabama and Angela Shaw of Cleveland, Ohio, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. 

A public viewing will be held on January 2, 2025, 3:00 - 5:00PM and the Celebration of Life will be on January 3, 2025, 9:30AM wake and 10:00AM service at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. Elder George Horne, Eulogist. Internment will immediately follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 640 North Ridge Road, Lorain, OH
