Jardaia Mason-Owens

Jardaia Mason Owens was born March 6, 1991, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Johnny, Owens Sr. and Jennifer Owens.

Jardaia received her education in the Cleveland Public School District and later received her high school diploma at Penn Foster. She worked at Amazon and Enterprise Rental She accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Temple Baptist Church. 

Jardaia always had a mind for travel. She became an entrepreneur and grew her business known as EVENTS AT YOUR EXPENSE LLC. 

Jardaia had a big heart for many people she loved being a football mom and helping other kids achieve their dreams with love and support. She also loved to travel explore new things and love being with her family. 

Jardaia suffered from lupus which put her in heart failure. Having received a new heart in March 2022 within those two years, she lived her life to the fullest, always positive and kept going. She was hospitalized In February 2024 as her heart began to reject. 

Jardaia was called home by God, on Friday, April 19, 2024. She was an all-around superwoman, mother, and queen that has now received her crown.

Jardaia legacy will forever live on in our hearts as she leaves to cherish her memory, four children: Jay'Mir Mason-Owens Joh'Mir Mason- Owens, Ja Keilen Mason-Owens, J'Anthony Mason-Owens her parents: Jennifer Owens and Johnny Owens; eight siblings: Tiffany Owens, Darius Mason-Owens, Tiara Owens, Brandon Mason-Owens, Johnny Owens Jr., Jennaja Owens, Johnathon Owens and Jocelyn Owens, aunts and uncles: Candace Mason, Khyo Mason, Charelena Mason, Charles Mason, Marcus Mason, Chad Mason, Minnie I. Martin, Lura Martin, Tessie Martin, Sylvester Owens Jr., Doris Jones, Emma Holloway and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. 

Jardaia was preceded in death by her grandparents: Gloria Mason, Emery Hurns, Minnie Pearl Sanders, and Sylvester Owens Sr.; one aunt: Alfreda Martin; three uncles: James Martin, Walter Martin, and Carlos Mason; one niece: Yasmir Harris.

A  public viewing will be held on May 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. The Celebration of Life Services will be held on May 11, 2024. 10:00 AM Wake and 10:30 AM Service at Messiah Ministries, 9009 Wade Park, Cleveland, OH. Pastor Justine Lockwood, Eulogist.  Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
