Gwendolyn Gean (White) Clark was born December 12, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to Gladys (Maddox) Walker and Earle Reagan. Both parents preceded her in death.
Gwendolyn was educated in Cleveland Public Schools and attended Community College for writing and ongoing computer skills.
Gwendolyn was the second oldest of seven children. She accepted Christ as the age of 15 and was baptized at Greater New Hope Baptist Church on Cleveland's east side.
Gwendolyn was united in holy matrimony to Eugene Melton (deceased) on March 4, 1967. Three children were born to this union; Judy, Janice and Eugene. On June 17, 1995. Gwendolyn remarried John Clark (deceased). To this union Valrie Clark was born and raised with Gwendolyn's two stepsons, Jerome Melton and Cory Odom.
Gwendolyn was a loving and giving person. She loved to sing, dance, and had lots of fun with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Gwendolyn suddenly departed this life on Friday, May 27, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Judy Fisher (Marvin), Janice Raliford and Valrie Clark; two sons: Eugene Melton and Jerome Melton; five sisters: Gloria Woodard, Patricia Woodard, Marsha Graves, Denise Reese and Linda Martin; two brothers: Molreese Webber and Earle Reagan; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A public viewing will be 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2022. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, June 10, 2022, 10:00 AM Wake and 10:30 AM Service at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street (East 71st and Harvard), Cleveland, OH. Interment will immediately follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, 5505 Northfield Rd, Bedford Heights, OH
Face Mask will be required for both Viewing and Funeral services
