Eleanor Conner was one of seven siblings born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Archie and Goldie Grair. All siblings preceded her in death. She attended Cleveland Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age.
Eleanor met and married Lavell Connor who preceded her in death. She had one son, Ricardo H. Armstrong, who also preceded her in death in 1995.
Eleanor worked at Heralds Factory. Later, she worked at the State Liquor Agency as a manager until she retired.
Eleanor loved bowling on a league and doing crafts. She was a member of the Eastern Star and served on the Usher Board at Evening Star Baptist Church.
Eleanor's nickname was "Molly the Maid". She was always willing to help whenever called and she would be there for whatever you need. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Eleanor leaves to cherish her memory, one grandson: Ricardo (Lee); four great-grandsons: Ricardo Jr., Max, Ryan, and Mason and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She will be truly missed.
A public viewing will be held on May 2, 2025, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. The Celebration of Life Service will be on May 3, 2025, 10:00AM Wake and 10:30AM Service at the Evening Star Baptist Church, 9902 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH. Pastor Brian Simmons, Eulogist.
