Dianne Michelle Jackson was born on February 19, 1962, in Cleveland OH to the union of Rev. Wilbur Jackson and Evelyn Weeden. Dianne grew up and attended the Cleveland Municipal School District and graduated from Regina High School in 1980.
Dianne accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by her father Rev. Wilbur Jackson at Canaan Baptist Church and later joined St. Timothy Missionary Baptist Church. In her youth, she was a member of the Girl Scouts and as an adult, she was an active member of the community participating in prayer meetings which led to serving (WIN) Women In Need at Epiphany Catholic Church on East 120th and Union Avenue. The nonprofit organization grew to (PIN) People In Need which served everyone. Dianne was a blessing to all who knew her.
Dianne, affectionately known as "Deenie" was also known as "the candy lady" because she always had a purse full of candy. She enjoyed singing with family members and friends. Dianne sung with the Twilights of Joy, The Weeden Family Singers, St. Timothy Mass Choir, and the Jazz Rock Band Just Family.
Dianne started with the Cleveland Sewer District in 1982 in the Easterly Waste Water Plant as a maintenance worker. She then moved on to Analytical Services as a lab technician. She left in 1997 due to disability.
Dianne was preceded in death by her father Rev. Wilbur Jackson and a brother Wilbur Jackson Jr. but leaves to cherish her memory her mother Evelyn Weeden Burton, sister Deborah A. Robinson, brother Rev. Lamar Jackson, nephew Pastor Kenneth J. Robinson, nieces Amber Jackson and Ashley Jackson, one loving aunt Phyllis and one loving uncle Johnny, many cousins and friends. Dianne will truly be missed.
A Public Viewing will be held on June 21, 2024, 3:00PM - 5:00PM at the House of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. The Celebration of Life Services will be held on June 22, 2024, 9:30AM Wake and 10:00AM Service at St. Timothy Missionary Baptist Church, 7101 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH. Eulogist: Pastor Kenneth J. Robinson.
