Curtis Bobbitt Jr

Curtis Ivory Bobbitt, Jr., aka "CJ", was the beloved son of Curtis and Kimberly Bobbitt, born on Wednesday, December 20, 2000, in Cleveland, Ohio. CJ grew up in a household that believed in the Lord. 

He graduated from Maple Heights High School in 2020. CJ loved playing basketball and played for the Maple Heights traveling basketball team. He loved being outside, cutting hair, dressing to impress, music and his dog, Sanman. 

CJ was the baby boy of his siblings and was spoiled by the entire family. He was his momma's headache, but she loved her baby boy. At an early age, CJ would do odd jobs to make money so he could buy gifts for his mom. He loved his family and was always checking on his grandparents and looking out for his little cousins. 

CJ was taken from this earth on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the age of 22. He is now in his eternal resting place, smiling down on us from heaven with that one dimple. 

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving parents: Curtis, Sr. and Kimberly Bobbitt; two brothers: Michael and Demonte Thompson; grandparents: Warren Hairston, Almeda Bowman, Harold and Earline Hair; two uncles: Kenneth Walter and Gary Hairston; four aunts: Angelic, Lisa, Hope and Nicole; one nephew: Koiyo; one niece: Amaree; nine cousins: Tyesha, Asia, Diamone, Dayzanae, Erica, Kendre, Lakresha, Tony and Cole; three favorite cousins: James, Tyshawn and Javion; Godfather: Dakus; God-uncle: Rawn; his first love: Shian (Boney); childhood friend: Nicolas and a host of cousins, family and friends. 

CJ was preceded in death by his uncle: Warren Hairston Jr.

A  public viewing will be held on March 10, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. The Celebration of Life Services will be held on March 11, 2023, 9:30 AM Wake and 10:00 AM Service at Temple Baptist Church, 1862 Noble Road, East Cleveland, OH,  Sedric D. Veal Sr, Eulogist.
