Christen LaNard Green-Wilson was born August 9th, 2001 at Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio to his parents Sharon Wilson and his biological father, Roy C. Green and his stepfather, Anthony Wilson.
Christen attended Cleveland Heights Schools graduating from Cleveland Heights High School in 2020 as a 4 Year Varsity Wrestler. Later, Christen was Christened at the age of 5 months, then he confessed Christ at the age of 5, and was baptized at Bethany Christian church under the leadership of Pastor Robin E. Hedgeman. He instantly became a willing worker, serving on the Jr. Usher Board, Jr Choir, Jr. Deacon, Men's and Youth ministries, also participating in the Male March. He enjoyed being a Worship Leader on Youth Sunday, helping in other auxiliaries in the church, and he faithfully served communion every first Sunday.
Christen was a member of Students of Promise, this program brought him count- less memories and experiences. He met a lot of influential people that gave such positive messages, encouraging words, and wisdom that shaped his character. He made some amazing friendships over the years with this group.
Christen loved food, spaghetti was his all time favorite meal. Green was his favorite color and he was known as a great wrestler and was known as the "C-Green Machine." His hobbies were playing basketball and video games with his friends. He also had a hot wheel cars collection, which included over 300 cars.
Christen worked at Texas Roadhouse as a cook.
Christen was a very devoted son, brother, uncle nephew, friend, student, team- mate and a lover of Christ. He loved his church and his pastor.
Christen was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, J.C. and Ruby Hardy, his grandmother, Mary A. Berger, his great uncles, Bruce Hardy and James Hardy, great aunt, Thelma Washington, his uncles, Chris Berger, Michael Berger, aunt, Stacy Berger.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Sharon Wilson and Anthony Wil- son, his Godmother, Jessica Price, his grandparents, James and Janice Berger; his siblings, Charles Williams, Bralynn Green of Phoenix, Arizona, Faylen Green, Ashlee Williams, and Alexis, Bogard; great aunt, Loretta Hardy; aunt, Tracy Berger; uncle, James Edward Berger Jr. (Marty); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A Public Viewing will be held on June 7, 2024, 3:00PM - 5:00PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. The Celebration of Life Services will be held on June 8, 2024, 9:30AM Wake and 10:00AM Service at Bethany Christian Church, 3940 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Cleveland, OH. Dr. Robin Hedgeman, Eulogist. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, 5505 Northfield Rd, Bedford Heights, OH.
