Born into a military family, she enjoyed any opportunity to share her adventures as a child from Hawaii and her beloved Japan. Cherrece's family moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1989. She began her quest as an entrepreneur on her Aunt Edna's front porch steps, selling garter snakes out of a bucket to the neighborhood. children with her big brother Samone Glover, her partner in crime, as a lookout. As an adult she designed and sold beautiful hand- made beaded bracelets online through Facebook.
She graduated from Maple Heights High School, Maple Heights, Ohio in 2001. She worked as a food service worker in an assisted living facility sharing her love and smiles with clients. She later joined the team at Golden Corral, in Macedonia, Ohio, once again her love and respect made her a shining light. Cherrece was creative, adventurous, loving and had wonderful sense of humor. She was an avid cook and displayed her masterpieces on Facebook. Many times, meals she posted had people wanting to come to her house for a taste. Cherrece had a strong love and commitment to family, and they to her. When she was in a rehabilitation center recovering from surgery amid the Covid pandemic, she was not allowed visitors. This did not stop her family who visited her on the grass outside of her window. Many a Saturday there was a pop-up canopy with her family and friends.
One of her passions was coloring books and Winnie the Pooh. She would keep her spirits up by immersing herself in her coloring books. She had Winnie paraphernalia and stuff animals all over her room and they traveled with her through all the hospital stays and chemo treatments. Her main passion, however, was her faith in God. She accepted him as her Lord and Savior and believed he heard all her prayers and the prayers of her family and friends.
