Bruce Ambeau was born August 31, 1953 to Richard and Dorothy Ambeau in Cleveland, Ohio. He was baptized in the Catholic faith at an early age.
Bruce was educated in the Cathohic School. He graduated from Cathedral Latin in 1971. Upon graduation, Bruce worked at Ziebart for 28 years until it closed. Bruce was employed by Quicken Loans Arena (also known as) Rocket Mortgage Field House for over 20 years until his death.
He loved to play bid whist, pitching horseshoes, playing golf on Wii and video games. He loved hand dancing, traveling and baebecuing with his friends. He also enjoyed playing with his granddaughter.
Bruce transitioned this life on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
The life of Bruce will not die but will live on in the memories of his devoted wife: Wanda; son: Anthony (Lori); granddaughter: Jeweliana; his loving mother: Dorothy; four sisters: Pamela Godfrey, Genene McDougle; Michelle Ambeau-Taylor (Henry), Stacey Ashford (Victor); three sister-in-laws: Janet McIntosh, Paulette Byrd, and Lydia Owens (Myron); three brothers-in-law: Simm Smith (Lavonia), Tyrone Byrd (Pamela) and Simm Byrd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father: Richard Ambeau and grandparents: Lester and Florence Patterson.
A public viewing will be 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street (off East 71st and Harvard), Cleveland, OH. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Temple Baptist Church, 1862 Noble Road, E. Cleveland, OH. Interment will be at the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 5505 Northfield Road Bedford Heights, OH.
A face Mask will be required for both Viewing and Memorial Service.
