It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Augustus Ross.
Augustus Ross Jr. was born on 06/10/1974 in Tifton Georgia to the late Augustus Ross Sr. and Pearlie Mae Brown. He was the youngest of three children. Augustus accepted Christ at a very early age and was baptized while still residing in Tifton. Upon moving to Cleveland, Ohio in approximately 1988-1989, Gus attended Cleveland Public Schools and later obtained his G.E.D.
Gus worked at Service Master and Judson Miles Auto Sales. During his time on earth, Gus was a very caring person with a heart of gold. He loved fishing, playing cards, cooking on the grill, listening to music, and working on cars. Augustus was joined in holy matrimony with Karla White on February 20, 2001. They enjoyed twenty-one wonderful years together. To this union, three sons were born.
Gus had many nicknames: "Mann", "Gucci Baby”, “G money", "Da", and "Papa". He loved helping people and turning friends to family. Family was very important to him. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved kids in general.
God called his faithful servant to eternal rest on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
