Adrienne Washington Farr

Adrienne Washington Farr was born on December 11, 1958 to Ohdee and Carrie Washington in Cleveland, Ohio. Her mother and grandson preceded her in death. 

She accepted Christ as her savior at age thirteen at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Dr. R.L. Fuller. 

She was a 1977 graduate of Shaw High School in East Cleveland, Ohio. She majored in Stenography. After graduation, she studied at Wilberforce University, majoring in Psychology. It was there where she met Gary Littlejohn. They were united in holy matrimony in 1979. To their union, one son and two daughters were born; Justin, Sr., Elizabeth and Meisha. 

Adrienne moved to Washington D.C. and worked various jobs in the secretarial field, namely, Giant Headquarters and Sting Securities. She later became an entrepreneur and owned and operated a clothing, laundromat and variety store. She returned to the workforce in 2012 and began working for Metro Access. 

While residing in D.C. she joined Galilee Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of the Praise Team and (EWC) Excited Witness for Christ. Adrienne loved the Lord and served Him diligently and faithfully. 

On January 15, 2014, Adrienne was joined in matrimony to Richard Farr. 

In 2022 she relocated to her hometown of East Cleveland and rejoined her church home of Mt. Hermon on July 31, 2022. Adrienne loved singing praises to the Lord and joined the Singers Praise Team and sang with the Mass Choir. She also attended Sunday school, Bible Study, and Prayer Meetings faithfully. She was also faithful in her giving. 

She was employed with GC Transport Transportation and Fleet from April of 2022 until her departure. 

Adrienne was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She enjoyed spending time with the Lord during her daily devotion. She was a go-getter and always had time to offer help to others along her life's journey. 

Adrienne succumbed to her brief illness and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday. December 28, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Richard Farr, son, Justin Littlejohn, Sr.; daughters, Elizabeth Littlejohn and Meisha (Malik) Moody; father, Ohdee Washington; sister, Meisha (Emanuel) Mahome; grandchildren, Kayla, Leah, Mea, Miko Byron. Sasha, Maggie, and Jayden; aunts, Beulah Banks, Katherine Washington, Mary Washington, and Macie Davis; nieces, great nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. 

A public viewing will be held on January 9, 2025, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. A Celebration Of Life will be held, on January 10, 2025. 10:00AM Wake and 10:30AM Service at Mt Hermon Baptist Church, 2516 E 40th St, Cleveland, OH.
